He does....I dont know about anyone else but i get the same way. I was in an absolute frenzy of emotions last year hunting mine down. I almost felt cheated because the one I ended up buying wasnt one I "identified". It just fell in my lap by chance of me having a discussion with the dealer about getting into a bigger boat lift. Its an exciting experience.....and a stressful one. Stressful in the sense that I get overly excited and it impacts other facets of my life. You know....forget to pick up the kids from school, ignore your wife while she's talking to you, staring at your phone constantly, trying to pick apart every reason why you think this is the deal for you, wondering how much new boat gear you'll need to purchase, etc.....all that excitement is taxing....lol.

Tgrace...draw this out as long as possible. Keep us entertained

Yep Table and T Grace Entertaining for sure !! I totally understand purchasing a new boat anxiety all the mind F**k games that you put yourself thru trying to make sure you have everything that you want and can afford and have no post ownership regrets when you are spending 100K plus!

Yep Table and T Grace Entertaining for sure !! I totally understand purchasing a new boat anxiety all the mind F**k games that you put yourself thru trying to make sure you have everything that you want and can afford and have no post ownership regrets when you are spending 100K plus!

Haha I love how every thread has turned into me and my quest for a new boat. You are 100% correct on how it is nerve racking and yet exciting too. I think I have figured out my plan. I just need someone to come and dump some cash on me for Big Red so I can get on to my next one!

I agree with lightning, for $12-13k you can have the Whipple stage 1 kit installed and be pushing 600+hp from the 502 Mag, and oddly I am partial to the 252 design.

+1 akro! I never raise my hatch unless its maintenance. Last year a guy asked what motor it had when we all boarded. I told him it was a 4 cylinder International Harvester, flipped the CC on, and hit the key. When it fired he said it was the best sounding 4 banger he ever heard, and it never came up again!

But I have to admit, a blue motor is sexy...
