Curious if you needed any extra tools? Special socket or something? I’m about to find out how much fun this is sadly after bending one of the front prop blades almost in half. Stumps!!

Any pics of your prop blades? I bent both on my Volvo Penta duo prop many years ago.
I had the Volvo Prop wrench to take those props off. Here is an amazon link showing a pic.

No specialty tools, just hex wrenches and I’d recommend a torque wrench and follow the Volvo recommended torque settings. If you under tighten you will have a problem.

TXSurfer, do you have the Volvo Penta forward surf duo prop drive or the rear facing duoprop drive? The tools in my link are for a rear facing drive.

Picked up a bad ding on one of my props. F4 size. Any one know of a good place to buy a back set so I don’t lose down time during peak season to get repaired?
