In review, they are 6" or 6.5" speakers and my choices are Revo 6, JL or Wet Sounds, Kicker or Polk. Thanks. And, I'm not replacing any speakers w/o addressing the radio and amp first. All must fit together, plus maybe get a A, B, C, All switch for each speaker set. Thanks. The boat recommissioning list keeps getting longer and I haven't lifted the engine cover yet....

I'm super pleased with my 6.5 JL MX650-CCX-SG-TBs.

You want to find a head unit with multiple zones. that will allow you to turn up and down. JL apparently has a three zone unit

JL also has volume control knobs for their amp's. We are using one to control the volume on the towers.

Boy I'm thinking that would be so much Easier then adding the 3 separate volume controls. If only I needed a new head unit 🤔

So I decided to go with Rockford tower speakers and an amp. Install next week.

Went to a shop and listened to them vs others and they stood out to me.

Very cool ajc. Those RF tower speakers look pretty slick too. Looking forward to pics of those mounted on your boat.

Excellent choice on the Rockfords..👍 My last boat, and my current boat are all Rockford, from amps, head units and speakers. I boat and tie up with many boaters, some extreme sound fanatics and the only thing comparable would be JL...IMO. Those tower speakers can throw sound really far, and still be crystal clear. Zone it so you can kill all the cabin speakers when out in the water, makes people still in the cabin happy, and saves some battery life, not pushing the other 8 cabin speakers when not needed. Hope they sound great for you, and happy boating to ya....oh and you will love the rear deck speakers also if you decide to add those, doesnt hurt having 2 towers and 2 lower rear decks throwing sound out back..lol
