Thanks YT.

I am thinking of changing it to "2nd chance". I've been making some critical changes over the last year, including buying the boat. A 2nd chance at fun, if you will.

Looks like a stellar boat! Glad you finally found ‘the one’, can’t wait to see it in the water.

Thanks Akor....

It passed today's mechanical with flying colors. Good compression across all cylinders, outdrive in good condition (New U joint, bellows in good shape), motor mounts good, all wet systems working. Today's results, coupled with the very dry hull and trailer, made the decision easy.

Techie has officially joined the Cobalt Cabal. ;)

In the process now of finalizing insurance and the timing of the tow back to Boston. Thank you to John and everyone for their support. It's been 2 very long years, but I think I found a real winner.

If anyone is near to the Twin Cities and knows someone who wants a day job to paint the outdrive and replace the zincs (so that it can go directly into the water once it's home)...please let me know. I would appreciate it.

I think there’s a formal process to rename a boat. I don’t remember the whole ceremony, but it starts something like “It’s easy to grin when your ship has come in, and you’ve got the stock market beat...”

Now we have to get Techie a t-shirt to make her official too.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Boat scheduled to arrive tomorrow morning. We are going to launch her and do a short shakedown to move her to her slip. If you read of the news of a Cobalt running ashore in Boston Harbor, it's not me, I promise
