RPM issue

So according to Cobalt, it looks to be like a bad digital gauge on the dash that is throwing the fault code.

Yea that's awesome and shuts down your engine. I like my dumb guages.

Analog wins again. I'm a tech guy, but a boat isn't a place I want all the digital do-dads like this that can ruin a day at the lake.

Yea that's awesome and shuts down your engine. I like my dumb guages.

The good thing is it doesn't shut the engine down, it just beeps at me above 3k rpm. As long as I stay below 30mph right now it's fine to drive.
