Tip - for those of you who plan on installing larger speakers in the same hole as the old Sony's speakers suggest you duct tape a wood shingle over the Sony speaker hole. Then using a hole saw for steel (like a white Milwaukee hole saw) sized to your speaker template drill the hole through the wood shingle and fiberglass at the same time. Gives you a perfect diameter hole for the new speakers. You need to find the the center of the old Sony speaker hole first to transfer to the wood shingle face (measure) for the hole saw drill. Suggest you don't use a dremell, or sawsall, because the speaker mounting holes are sometimes 3/16 from the speaker template edge. You may have to order the hole saw. Your welcome to use another piece of wood then a shingle, AND suggest you do this BEFORE snaking new speaker wire to the speaker hole. Next , suggest you replace the interior deck [courtesy] lights with LED's using the same method ....good luck.
BTW - If I remember correctly my 6" Rockford speaker template was 1/4" larger then the Sony speaker hole (impossible to trim)
