262 vs 272 Help!

When I drove the 272, it FELT like a shallower hull than I remember of my days in the 262’s. I could be totally wrong and I’m not even sure if they have a different dead rise (easy to figure out) but I felt like the 272 hull was a faster hull than the 262.
