Welcome dobone.
Two types of advise here: wanted and unwanted. All in good fun though.
I'd go with the seagrass instead of carpet. We have the soft mat and love it, but no animals allowed on my boat.
First time I replaced snap in carpet on my last boat, I wished I'd spent a little more for seagrass.
Congrats on your purchase. Great boat.
Must be nice to be able to go out on water in April.

A buddy told me "Social Distance" would be a good name for it.

Here are the bimini attachments.

What is this on the side?

Does this belong to the boat?

Thanks in advance!

Ok those 2 things on the side of the boat are vents so don't try to remove them. Just keep the screens clean.
The other quick releases are very common and should be there. All of those poles are for your bow cover, cockpit cover, or mooring covers. They are not binimi poles.
Maybe this picture of my old boat with the Bimini up helps.

That looks like a spare or a bad docking light. Put 12v to it see if it works?

works great. The only problem is I got no hole for it. Which im guessing was why its NOT installed and in the garage.

It's halogen anyway, but if you don't have docking lights at all not sure why it would be in your boat.

The lakes are nice, a little cool, but the air temp is in the 70+. Covid has really allowed me to enjoy this boat.

Any aftermarket Bimini recommendations. Cobalt of course has no inventory. I wanna try and use the old mounts or at least the old position to avoid no screw holes.

Really check with a local upholstery shop. They can custom make them for you. There are a ton on the internet but still.

+1, the really nice ones cost about as much as having one made. Local canvas shops can whip one up exactly how you want it.

^^ I spent the past 8 years on lake conroe. Just moved and sold my boat :( .
Great looking boat you have there and here are a few recommendations on local options. Reach out to Lakeshore Sports / Rinkers Lakeshore (local Cobalt dealer) very helpful and good people there that can possibly point you in the right direction. Another contact would be Lakeside Audio. They do quite a bit of heavy custom work. The owner is very friendly and should point you in the right direction with a contact or recommendation towards the best of the best local options.
