Yes, being towed in is the worst. By a jet ski makes it even worse. In my books the only thing worse than a jet ski would have been a pontoon boat! Lol.

New spline shaft is in and everything appears to be functioning properly. Just got the prop wrenches today and will get the lower unit drained and refilled with good oil and check for any metal shavings. After that it’s back to the lake to give it a test run. May drag a couple of kids with me and let them do some knee boarding tomorrow if everything is well. Then I can get back to the CC and work on getting the parking pad/rock put in for the boat and camper, and a carport for the boat. Took it out last Friday after some rain and may have left 6-8in ruts about 40ft long! She sank in a little more than I was expecting with the rains we had.

Few random things fixed over the last week. Got the CC figured out tonight. I think somebody replaced the gear selector and trim at some point and just pulled the wiring back to there. Tied in a piece up to the switch on the dash and moved the CC breaker to a more accessible place. Should be on the water tomorrow with it.

Sounds great FTBB.

I usually lower my outdrive half way or more before starting the engine to save wear on the gimbal bearing and U-joints...especially if revving above 1200 rpm

Keep an eye on that rpm gauge if your outdrive is fully raised while operating.
