What safety gear do you always carry?

Yep this is all the guys use now. Hemi 6.4 no issues. Cummins not sure but prob. The sales staff had switched over as well.

I have a standard kit on board that has first aid, flares, flags (which people always forget about), a whistle etc. I also carry some tools and a headlamp. Thing is ultra bright and I keep hands free, especially for docking. It's also good in case you need to get at something in the engine and don't want to be trying to hold a flashlight.

and the single most important safety equipment is... an oar. always an oar. Saved me more times than I care to count.

The one I got was about $75 & the ones my techs have are about $150.
Mine has a light on it and cane with a extra dual battery for my phone all in a nice bag. Hasn't let me down yet. I'll get another when it dies. I've had it for a good 4 years.

I carry the jackets and flares the state of NY mandates. Plus, one of those nice "Kobalt" tool kits from Lowes. Now it all makes sense!
A jump box is a great idea..

Always had either a mounted spotlt on the boat or a high power corded. This is pretty handy for signaling the helo. Also for general use... had a chance to use last night. No cord is great and very good on high power with 3 settings for use around the dock.
