I do like the arch option for flag mounting. Looks great on your boat in that first pic you posted.
My kids (as I'm sure like yours do) LOVE jumping off the side of the boat. I hate taking the flag out --as easy as it is. It just looks so darn good!

I'm having it mounted on the starboard side since our arch and potable water filler are on the port side. Plus it's out of their way now.
Still--arch flag does sound intriguing.

I was going to put it all the way on top in the middle. But on vac we had too many bridges to go under. I'll prob move it soon. It's good to 57mph.lol

I have a VHF antenna in the center of my arch. Maybe I could mount the flag at the tip of that! I could climb it like lieutenant Dan from Forest Gump in the rainstorm!

I'll record it. If it didn't flex much it would look cool.

I may just remove the antenna.
It folds backwards when not in use. That's great until you climb up in the boat thru the center walk-thru and "stab" yourself with it.

Yea I grab the tower like a jungle gym every time I get in the boat.

you can get the real usa made flag pole from this company. great company. i got the holder off of my easy button Ebay. mine is made by kwikTek there are others on there as well. i might get the holder welded in place as the flag is heavy for it. They only use a small pin to stop it from rotating.

I'm having a hell of a time trying to find something I figured would be an easy search. I have a 1/2" diameter, 17" long flag pole that flys my 49ers pennant flag. I want to mount this somewhere on my arch tower on the starboard side. Because the piping is concaved and the bimini poles are all at various angles I need something that can rotate. The piping I believe is 2", not sure about the bimini poles but they cant be much more than 3/4". Prefer a stainless/polished aluminum look but at this point I dont care. It needs to hold up at WOT as well.

I also called my dealer looking for something and they have nothing. Suggested looking at Taylor Made website, which i did....nothing...

Mine works for sure up to a 2 inch pipes. Maybe even larger. You would have to read the specs.
