Currently it's mounted next to the throttle so that I can't see it it without bending over.
The only bummer is that you need the PMX-CAN converter module to do this, which is $200.
I agree BB, there is no reason they couldn't bring out everything possible with the electronics already on board.
Do you have GPS where you have a layout of the depth/bottom of the lake you are on? I find that the best part of the Garmin. The Niagara river and Lake Erie have some very shallow spots, and now I can avoid them before getting there.

I know this is an old thread, but was looking around in my 2019 25SC this weekend and found my RF PMX-8BB hideaway unit tucked under the main deck floor, in the head. Noticed the CAN port is open and was considering the PMC-CAN interface module as well. Notstock4long, did you ever install one of these interface modules? I'd be interested to see what kind of functionality and graphics you get on the Garmin 7607s with this. I'd hate to drop the $270 on this and find out it's only marginally useful.

I have the PMC-CAN. Doesn't do a whole lot other than being a little easier to set speaker levels. I have 4 zones; cockpit, 4 tower speakers (L/R) and sub. If you only have one zone probably not worth it. You will also need a T for the NEMA2K and a 6'foot cable to connect the PMC-CAN to the NEMA backplane. Probably north of $300 when all said and done.

I picked up a PMC-CAN off Ebay and plugged it into my RF hideaway unit. Ran the NMEA drop cable over to the helm, expecting the NMEA backbone to be behind the Garmin displays... found that it's not. At least not as far as I can tell. I wasn't able to follow where the NMEA drop cables go from the Garmins. The seem go down the port side in a bundle of other wires, but not sure where that all goes.
Anyone happen to know where the NMEA 2000 backbone is in a 2019 SC25?

I found the NMEA 2000 backbone (blue connector). Just had to look a little deeper, behind the panel above the amps.

Now I have the Rockford Fosgate unit registered in the NMEA 2000 network, but can't figure out how to get to any control screen for it. I think there is supposed to be a "media" option in the A/V Controls page, but I don't see it and can't see how to add it. Anyone happen to know?
The pictures here show the unit registered as a NMEA 2k device, but nothing on the A/V Control page (or anywhere else that I can find).
