AJ--I share your calling. When I'm not flying I want to be boating.
How often do u get to Beamus point on Chautauqua?
Hopefully a couple times a summer - 3 to 4. Possible be there for Labor Day if my mom is up for visitors (she is having cancer surgery Wednesday) so I don't want to put too much on her plate. I end up at bemus most nights I am there. Been boating on the lake since I was 10 so I love going home in the pitch darkness. What about u?
Oh wow.
I'm sorry to hear about your mom AJ. I'll be praying about that.
I just discovered Beamus point last year. We went to a concert there last year and just saw The Bee Gees cover band on 2 July this year. Definitely want to trailer my boat up there sometime to play on the lake and listen to the tunes.
Maybe we can catch up there. It's like a page out of a Norman Rockwell painting.
Very cool you have been doing that since you were a little shaver!

We're on Chautauqua lake a lot. Probably going there tomorrow if the weather holds..
Definitely Ellicott Brew for dinner. The Casino is cool also. They'll serve you right on your boat. A quick stroll through Skillmans and then a cone across the street.
I don't drink or gamble (sorry guys) but I'm happy to tag along to any of those places for great food, fellowship and fun! And I'm certainly in for ice cream!
....and great pictures. I need to go boating NOW!

Tuscany it sounds like we do the same things. Love casino wings. Do u ever go to webbs to eat and box car Barney for ice cream near mayville? I know one family in fredonia. Do u know recently retired suny fredonia AD / ball coach? I went to his camp growing up and know his kids

Fellowship is what it is all about. Moved up to a bigger boat because we always took another family on our old boat and it was too tight with no storage.

The "casino" is actually a restaurant right on the lake with plenty of slips and dock side service. Great family stop.
No gambling. I'm not sure where that name came from. They have been in business for multiple generations. It used to be Chautauqua/Jamestown hot spot back in the trolley car days.

I'm into snowmobiling big time. Webb's is one of our spots to stop in the winter . We're very lucky to have such a nice place like that in Mayville.
When in Mayville, also try the Watermark restaurant at the foot of the lake. Excellent foods and very nice atmosphere.
I can't place the name of the AD, my wife is much better with people recognition, but mention our store "Tuscany Meats" to him and he probably shops there. The former basketball coach at FS was a good friend, and two of his kids worked for us.
Can you share his name?
AJ sorry about your mom and hope all goes well. Will be thinking about her and your family!
Aslan looks like you get the cool job award! Nudged out YT!
Liquid maybe you can go back to the Mets and Jets and offer some financial counseling to the head honchos for all the draft money thrown down a rat hole!
I'm in the flooring biz. Mainly wood flooring (and vinyl flooring). From Brazil to China to US mills. Reclaimed oak and pine and everything else you can imagine. We sell to who you buy flooring from.
