I wish we could, but no. I would totally get one if allowed. Marinas with covered lift slips aren't really a thing here in New England. I drool at the pictures I have seen from other members down south that have them. A small amount of waterfront home owners have them around here, but no marinas that I've seen. Maybe it's because the season is so short being basically Memorial Day until Labor day for most boaters? Our marina operates from May1st until November 1st, but the gas dock shuts down for the year Columbus Day weekend. Some years there's still ice on Winnipesaukee into May. Average ice out is April 15th. This year April 5th. We pulled last year on Columbus Day and maybe only 10% of the members hung on until 11/1.

It sure would be sweet though to help keep my 24SX clean and not have the drive constantly in the water.

Yeah I guess we all have our trade offs. I’ve been to LOTO too much I guess. Those guys can have it all really.....only limitation is $$

Took my dad out over the weekend to Arizona (he is 85). We took the boat out on Sunday morning and went to breakfast etc. We burned through almost a half tank of gas, so we were out quite a while.

Unfortunately, we did have some engine issues. I got some hesitation and surging when trying to go full throttle, and then after a long no-wake zone, it had a hard time getting on plane and would only rev to 4000 RPM. Also an unusual vibration and muffled sound. I also remembered that last time out, i tried to go full throttle to push it up on the trailer and something seemed odd. Luckily, we were close to the ramp to get her home. I made an appointment with the shop, but they can't get to it until the middle of June. The mechanic said it sounded like a bad spark plug. Hopefully, it will be something simple.

Sounds like spark plugs could be the culprit. For what it's worth, I'd avoid using heavy throttle inputs when parking the boat on the trailer. Take the extra time and back the trailer in a few more feet. Looks like you had a nice time with your old man, great pic!

Yeah, I usually just idle it on and when it hits the roller on the trailer I give it a little push up to get it a bit higher on the roller. If I put the trailer in much farther, it tends not to center itself too well.

55 degree water, to cold for me to get in. Apparently not everyone thought that.

you guys with pics of these kids surfing and wake boarding in what I can only imagine to be freezing cold water, to be young again! Dang! The wife and I got ours out this week end but just had a few cold ones and enjoyed the view.

Another work day on our Cabana slip.

This one was particularly TOUGH. My boat was splashed this week. So tempting to take a rip, but it was all we could do working non-stop from 7-7 to finish off the deck and structure. Mainly just cosmetic stuff and moving in from here. The hard stuff is all done.

Next weekend we ride!

Ran up north to help my brother out on the deck. Max and I got put to work. Prob put the dock in today. Back up for the memorial day weekend with the boat in a few weeks. It's a bit chilly up north here.

A chilly morning yesterday made for what appeared to be “smoke on the water”. It’s a bit too cold this weekend for anything more than a short boat cruise. The trees don’t have full leaves yet but in a week it will look totally different here as in Minneapolis 110 miles south we have full spring green.

We were able to get our new R6 into Lake Erie on May 3, but have had rain and cold ever since. Today’s prediction is up to 7 foot waves! But we did get a couple of hours of burn in time during the week.
