So I realize I am reviving an older thread but I dont feel like there is a conclusion or even some concensus on the protectant part. So I went to the manufacturers website and see that boat bling vinyl sauce is allowed but its the only one hummmm. Thoughts?

A dilution of Woolite in warm water is my go to. Good for cleaning Sunbrella fabric as well.

Because of the frustrating experiences I’ve had with the boat bling products that is the absolute last thing I will ever put in my boat.

My guess—-the companies that are endorsed are paying the upholstery supplier to be endorsed. Now I don’t know anything about the material so it’s only a guess. The only way it makes sense is it’s paid. If all of the companies that are listed are really so bad then logic dictates they all contain the same ingredients which are harmful, which seems unlikely to me especially when there have been conflicting reports of proper procedure and approved products. If they really stopped recommending cleaners after they originally recommended them then they would be up for a lot of warranty claims if things really went bad unless the sent new documentation to each owner.

30:1 is a fairly weak cleaning solution ratio isn’t it?

What about protectant? It doesn't say anything about that and I am just not ready to do nothing and trust the manufacturer that this material will last without it.
