I can tell you the Merc is very quiet and you can definitely tell in sports mode that it is a v8. Also since it is NA it has that low end torque that is immediately on tap.

Sorry to burst your bubble regarding the V8 Verado but I believe the Mercury 350 Verado offered for the R6 is an in-line 6 with supercharger...
Still, pretty fast to plane (4.08 sec) and not bad top speed (55 mph). Also, the 350 gets the best gas milage out of all the OB offerings.

Yes you are correct. We get so excited with high hp! We need the v12 in her
