It's a setback for our boating season for sure bbp. Probably done for this summer but so glad we got out when we did. Boat ran like a champ and beautiful weather.
Maybe I need two tow vehicles....or a lake house with a dock. Like MnLB!
.
Don’t say that. Rent a uhaul to put in the boat….could you rent a tow vehicle the weekend you r in Erie.

Possibly ajc. Waiting for the insurance decision to come back. That will determine our COA.

A7, so sorry this happened & glad the police got her before she left. In 2020, pulling a jeep behind our motorhome, we got rear ended on the interstate. The guy didn’t stop but we got his license number. Police arrested him few days later. No matter what, it messes up your plans. Good luck.

Don't let USAA tell you they only cover X amount per day for a rental vehicle. Insist on an SUV that can tow as that is what you have. They probably use Enterprise and the Tahoe's and Suburbans have hitches.

My guess is a guy who used to fuel bombers over the Pacific and who flies thousands of passengers a month (guessing here) should be rather level headed!

That's a great perspective Dub. ...and you jogged my memory.
I do remember after refueling a bomber 1/2 way over the Pacific between Japan and Guam losing all electronic navigation capability in our aircraft. There was a software glitch where when we executed a command in the computer, it was using an algorithm that was trying to divide by the number zero....which as you know is impossible. The computer just shed more and more components it was powering to try to solve and unsolvable equation.
Even rebooting did not help as it was in it's involatile memory. All electronic instruments linked to the computer froze.
We navigated three hours back to the island of Guam with minimum fuel using just a compass and good old fashioned dead reckoning. Thank goodness the weather out there is tropical.

Our daughter is typically up by 7:30 at the latest, but today for some reason she was zonked and my wife had to drag her out of bed in her PJs at 8-45 to meet me up at the lake. I was traveling in separately having gone to a Phish concert with some college buddies last night.
Fantastic day on the water, which typically ends with a 45 minute cruise for her afternoon nap. Today was extra precious though. "Mommy, Daddy, I want to put my PJs back on and nap in my brother's lap "
At aged 7 and 3, I don't have too much time left with these little cute kid moments. They'll be teenagers stealing my beers before I know it. I feel like the luckiest man alive when I'm ripping up the lake in my boat and look down to see this:

At Higgins lake, MI. Great day on the water. Can’t believe how clear it is.
However my bow stop broke. Hope the welder does a good job tomorrow

Awesome AJ! Except for the bow stop. I guess you should have stopped before you hit it. Lol
That place is on my bucket list.
