A7 we live pretty far back off of the main road. So letting someone know they are "dead in the driveway" has a little different meaning...

Am I the only one that worries how I will get the boat back home in the dark?
I guess working at a rv dealership and stuff that's one of my first questions if I buy it.even if I ship it I still ask. Habit I guess.

Derailed?
No thread derails here guys. It’s who we are!
🤣🤣🤣

I have the electric over hydraulic system on my trailer. I hated the surge brakes on my old trailer. Very unpredictable, and not very reliable when you are in trouble. They also drag when descending down a hill all on their own. Then there’s the constant bounce of the surge unit spring going back and forth...
The E/H system was pricey $1,200 option with Kodiak stainless discs, but IMO, brakes are the most important and overlooked safety upgrade. Instantaneous, very adjustable with a controller, and can stop like there’s nothing in tow. Definitely keeps you out of trouble from jokers in traffic. Well worth it Katie..

One thing you may need to do is double check all of your lines. The system line pressure runs 1,500 lbs per square inch..

Haha, old pictures of when I brought the trailer home back in July, but still looks the same.
They paint with a real human behind a paint gun using PPG epoxy primer, paint and clear system. Automotive quality finish. So easy to keep clean.

Way to bring the thread back online T! Ive always wanted to have my very own derailed thread! My day has been made!

I have to admit it's not always Mrs. Nauti posting on here... But I like that everyone assume it's me asking about trailer brakes and mechanical things lol. Those posts are Mr. Nauti...that's his area of expertise not mine, even though he is trying to teach me!

My trailer is a 2017 model EZ-Loader with Electric 6 wheel brakes.. I was terrified to submerge it until they explained it's fine to leave it plugged when underwater..
It does stop amazing and better than any surge style trailer I've owned..

Boat trailer electric drum brakes are the same magnet style brakes, but the electronics are fully submersible.
