What year do you have? What is the 5.3?

I have a 2017 220s. VP 300 DP.
I've had a screw or two come loose but overall happy with the build quality. Rides very nice for 22 footer.

Drekar, I have a 2019 220s with a VP 280 with about 105 hours on it now (I bought it with 62hrs last August) the boat is smooth and quiet, seems to have plenty of power even when we load up with 8 adults heading to the sandbars in the Barnegat Bay in New Jersey. The EasyDrain feature is awesome for our saltwater use and aids in general after-use maintenance but we still do use Salt-Away as a preventative maintenance. So far, no issues with the boat whatsoever. I don't think you'll have any issues with the newer Gen VP V6 280

Went with the 2019 with the volvo penta 280. Took it out today and really liked it. Has 61 hours and in nearly perfect condition. Beautiful boat.

Curious if you get a vibration in the 1000-1500 rpm range. Seems unusual but the dealer tells me its completely normal with the VP engines. Agree that it performs great and I've been happy with fuel consumption.
