Safety gear, like a coolly cup for the beer in case its bottled and you drop it.
I must say I've always been interested in sailing....I'd probably tire of it due to the amount of work involved but it still is appealing to me on some level.

No you just got tired from paddling and bailing. Oh I am. A couple guys here that sail have all said we're going to take it out again this spring. I think it will become a community boat.

Hey All, Thanks for the warm welcome and nice responses. The photos are taken on Lake Winnipesaukee where I picked her up but will be used primarily on Lake Champlain and occasionally on trips to Lake George and other area spots. As for the "aja" name, we like Steeley Dan but that is actually the name of our [former] sailboat which came from boats my wife and I knew before we met. It's a great name because it often starts good conversations! We are in a thaw today so are suddenly realizing winter will lose it's grip on the area before long so I can't wait for my wife to actually see the boat uncovered and afloat! Thanks again to everyone for your kind words and I look forward to picking up more knowledge as the season approaches.
