Moose are a pain. When I worked in Alaska it was hard to see them in the dark (all winter). They kept a tally on the road signs of how many had been hit each winter. Problem is, nearly all of them end up on the hood and some thru the windshield. Long legged little buggers.

I've hit 2 big deer. One when my brand new F250 Diesel was less than 3 hours old driving back from Sioux Falls.

The next time was with my all aluminum Audi A8.

State Farm did great both times. Glad you guys are ok.

Well they totaled my car. Note to think about buying it back and getting it fixed on the side or buy another beater. All said and done I get $5k. Buy back is like $700 plus a few grand to fix it. Who knows but I have to decide this week yet. I need wheels.
Wife doesn't want a loan so that means I find a $6k beater.yea

Well they totaled my car. Note to think about buying it back and getting it fixed on the side or buy another beater. All said and done I get $5k. Buy back is like $700 plus a few grand to fix it. Who knows but I have to decide this week yet. I need wheels.

What Pontiac doesn't look good with a black hood and fender.?? Maybe a little guide coat to give it that "I'm painting soon look"..

I'd buy it back.. salavage title and all.. use as a utility work veh etc. then sell it when your ready..

There are more deer per sq ft there than anywhere in the world. They're like rats. We eliminated all the natural predators and then built around them, so they find the woods.

I've hit so many deer. I've had deer run into the side of my car on more than one occasion. I've had a deer jump off a ledge and land on the hood of my car out of nowhere. Destroyed an Audi. YT - my buddy hit a deer on his bike going about 40... 20+ years later his back is still cringeworthy.

I bought it back. Sold it to the body shop tech. Sold him my spare set of rims and tires. Slicks
Had a 8.1 in her.
Now on to the search of a new ride.
