YT- purchased online by the gal. If I remember correctly I bought it straight from 3m. Just refill spray bottles.

I follow with the 303 protector every time. The cleaner seems to really clean, but I figure the protector was made as the follow-up.

I use 303 multipurpose cleaner and then hit it with 303 protectant once a month. Upholstery still looks brand new.

Adams Conditioner
Conditioner Sauce
Maguire Vinyl Conditioner.

Has anyone tried these along with 303 and picked a favorite or found one better than tbe other? So far I'm leaning towards Adams, but I need to buy some 303 and give it a try.

Driller where do you get it?
We've used the 303 cleaner and protectant. It didn't wow me... I like the vinyl sauce.

I know everyone loves the Adam's products but we've not tried any of their upholstery products.

Might make a great name for a new line of boat cleaning products!🤣
I'm with you on that cleaning product name :-)

Magic Erasers are harsh on the vinyl. I can't imagine scrubbing bubbles are very nice either.
That's my opinion.
I've got the marketing figured out. We need a guy with a Cajun accent.
"Jis Pot the Jus on da spot dere, and da dirt be gone, dat fo sho.."..

I agree BB, abrasives end in only one way, and that's worn looking vinyl.

My new to me 212 is 10 years old and in good shape however yesterday as I was removing the batteries I was looking closely at the upholstery. It is kind of dingy with signs of dirt down in the grain of the vinyl. I am going to have to give it a thorough cleaning and was wondering what everybody uses to clean and then protect their vinyl?

Also on a different but related note everywhere inside the compartments and especially the engine compartment/ bilge is dirty with signs of mold and or mildew. Its going to take some serious elbow grease to get it back to looking like new. What is the cleaner of choice for the areas inside all the compartments and engine bay/bilge?

The folks that had this boat took good care of it in a general sense but I want to bring it back to the look it deserves. It will clean up just like new and that's what I'm shooting for.

Thanks in advance

Mark, I purchased a gallon of the Meguiar's degreaser (not just for engines) https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00 ... UTF8&psc=1
based upon the video I discovered below on YouTube. Then follow it up with a Vinyl conditioner to help protect the vinyl.

Btw, this topic was covered under a thread with the exact same title back in November of 2017 here....
