Anyone know the difference between a UL and UL2?
Lower profile oval poly tank as compared to old style round Fiberglass. Better against puncture if you drop it down on submerge junk.. My side tie hoist is fiberglass round.. Knock wood.. no problems

There is a company that makes a cost-effective way to leave your boat dry.
http://www.airdock.com/
Kinda Oldschool but I see them around. Price is low for new and you can take them out easy.. Just a thought for those of you change marinas.

10,000lb Airport lift from Fitzco Marine in Shell Knob MO. Handles our R7 . Great lift and great guy to work with at Fitzco.
Did you add the R7 moniker shown on the bow, gdane?
Hadn’t seen that before.
A7 No Cobalt had that on the 2015 and 2016 A7's .Don't know why they stopped in 2017? There were some major changes in the A7 from 2015/2016 to 2017. We were pricing a 2017 A7 in November of 2016 when Lake Viking called me and said they had the 2016 A7 and Randy at Lake Viking made me a deal I couldn't refuse.
Pardon the A7 when they all should have read R7 my bad

Pardon the A7 which as you know R7
TR The changes that I remember " I have killed off many a brain cells since then"
The speaker grill covers, The pleated pillow vinyl, glass dash, the way the elbow rests on the starboard , LED lighting in the interior. I know I'll remember some more. And Oh about another 25,000 price increase!

True but only if you got one in the later half of the year. The one I'm buying has the older 6.0 version. but whatever, still has 430 HP

Yeah I like the quick drain feature that the new volvo's have. Still don't know if I would trust it enough in the harsh winters we have.

sooner, Tgrace and TR Here's where it gets interesting my late 2016 R7 has the new Volvo closed system with the quick drain system. We used the drain once in November before I had the boat winterized. I agree the drain system is good for late or early boating but for the winter go ahead and winterize. To much at stake!

Its under warranty right? So maybe just use it until no more warranty. Id be very interested in taking late fall early spring rides if I had this option. but then once you get used to that you'd want to keep using it even after the warranty is up.

The floats are different. UL2 are rectangular.

Got a quote today for a Hydrohoist 6600. The rep stated that if I ever wanted to go to a larger boat it would be fine up to an R7.
