It's an international trip, passports for everyone! We will also need to learn that pesky metric system so we can figure out how fast the 210 is in mph not kmh. Could be a challenge, but we got this.

I was at the Boston boat show a couple of weeks ago and met the inventor of the fender bucket. It’s a soft sided bucket that holds your fenders in place in the dock. He hasn’t gone to production yet, but is expecting to soon. He thought that the price would be around $40. This might be a good option as it is not permanently mounted and you can use your existing fenders without worrying about them moving out of place.

Nauti, exactly. We need something we can tow around the state and run on small lakes but that still has the torque for watersports and the freeboard for our bigger lakes. And considering my wife really wanted a captain's seat, the 210 was pretty much it.
That said, we got a V8, seagrass flooring, wakeboard arch with bimini, and a few other options to make sure it would serve all these roles as well as it could. I still wouldn't change a thing.

I couldn’t agree with you more. It’s all about what suits you. Besides my current boat my favorite that I owned was a 225 crownline that I had. Easy to pull, easy to take on and off the trailer and could handle any lake. I then got 5ftidous and upgraded to a 272 Baja islander and towing that up and down the ozark mountains was a chore. Ended up selling it and saying I won’t own another boat until it’s kept on a lake permanently.

That's a pretty cool product, BR99. Are there any customer reviews/testimonials? Price?
I think in certain environments it may rock around depending on how much the water and/or wind kicks up at a marina. It's basically a floating platform supporting a boat above the water with a high fulcrum point.
I do like the fact that it only takes 2 minutes to "inflate" (or deflate which may be quicker?). That and the fact that there are no permanent mounts so most marinas would be ok with it in a rented slip.
Definitely post your experience with this product if you go this route.

Actually, I'd consider this product if there was room in my slip. I'll have to see how it goes this spring. The product is around $9,000 (USD), so about $12,000CAD once it gets here. Not sure if it can stay in the water during freeze up. If not, it is an additional storage hassle. The floating and sinking is handled by valves and 4 "blowers" which are essentially motors used in central vac systems. They run off batteries (4) which must be recharged, so shore power at my slip is necessary. I think this is a better system than the "drive on" docks I have seen and the bonus is, if the thing fails and sinks, the boat just re-floats itself. An interesting concept. Not sure about warranty.

Ours are blue and white (our two primary boat colors), but I really like the two-tone color scheme and variety of other colors available. Plus, they're pretty sturdy. Note they also make pretty good dock bumpers if you mainly use your own dock:

Driller, they are inflatable, but have the same air in them they had in 2014 when I bought them. The little plastic screw thing they use to hold the air in seems pretty well designed.

The Taylor made just use the standard "football filler" rubber thingy with some kinda valve in them (no cap). I bought 2 last year, and they both lose air. Have always filled them with the Taylor Made needle and hand pump, still no dice.

Those are some pretty cool air lifts. Wish I could use them but we are on the main part of the lake and it gets too rough. Have to stick with the old cradle lift with wire rope.
