At this point I would rather see some snow here at home... We are flooding around here again... After a good one last year.

Lake Cumberland...which was built for flood control... Is probably going to reach its highest elevation... Ever! Marinas are closing... It's crazy. They closed the dam, after it running wide open for weeks, the rivers downstream can't handle anymore. Nashville would flood if they didnt.

We got a little wintery mix yesterday with ice, sleet and snow, but it could have been much worse. Of course it's been overcast forever. Once in a while the sun will come out for a bit. Except for today. SUNSHINE!!

It'll still be overcast the rest of the week, but it'll be in the high 40s and low 50s. Spring is coming!!

we seem to have dodged the 8" they were forecasting, but we're still getting snow, and freezing rain which sucks more than snow. Should be a fun commute out of the city this afternoon...

we got about 1-2inch of snow sleet, and freezing rain last night. Luckily not bad enough to call off schools. But my wife's school did do snow schedule this morning.

I hear the weather is nice in Vegas...

The sides of my driveway are approaching 4ft high due to shoveling and blowing. We had mostly bare ground showing for the Superbowl. All this on the heels of the "polar vortex". This is what makes living in MN so tough. Just as the rest of the world starts to thaw and come alive, we hit snow season. Heck, one year we got 3 inches on April 1 and I cut the grass in the afternoon. It's a tough place to live for sure if you are partial to warm weather sports.

This morning my dash shows 36 degrees and this guy pulls out behind me. WTH?

I drive about 3 miles to where I'm going and pull in, and snap this shot through my rear window.

A formula I have followed for years, as I'm a year round rider...
40° + 60mph = 0 windchill

And it was 36°...
In shorts? Seriously?

Ok, I’m a little delicate nowadays when it comes to riding my bike.
Anything below 74? Nope.
Over 10% chance of rain? Nope.
Anything longer than a couple hours? Nope.
Motorcycle trailer registered and inspected? Yup.

When I was young?
Roads dry? Yup.
Temp above freezing? Yup.
Snow gone? Yup..

I wonder if he was headed to Warmer weather like Vegas today. Lol
