Problem with fighting tickets? It’s always up to an egotistical judge, and how he/she sees it and what mood they are in. If the local law is written that way, then good luck with that..
Our local court judge won’t let anyone in his courtroom with shorts... got a speeding ticket, you’ll probably need a tux next... shows you what he thinks of himself.

Problem is that the public generally see the waters as a peaceful and relaxing place for most, and the authorities probably hear complaints all day long of someone acting like a child with their tiny little engine and big exhaust, and that ruins it for those who are more aware and considerate of others.

Maybe not inside the boat. When we were at Havasu last year I drove away from our beach with CC on. Didn't sound bad to me but my wife was on the beach and said it was crazy loud, even when I was a 1/2 mile out.

Yes, Jeff has told me the same thing...I dropped him at the marina and I headed back out in the boat and he was like "uhhh you can hear you all the way up in the parking lot" ... good good now you will know where I am at all times!!

I start mine every time with it open. It sounds awesome! Then I'll flip if off when its warming up and while we're idling out of the no wake zone. Then its backonlikedonkeykong!

Ytmsn is right. Guess that is why red cars always get the most speeding tickets. They just look fast standing still. Wonder if that is the attraction to red boats? 🤣
