Got out today with both my kids.
That doesn't happen often enough. Not many pictures while I was enjoying thier company. Also found a boat stranded in the middle of the lake and towed them in.

These are a couple of days late, but we took our A25 out through the Ballard Locks into Puget Sound this week. Near Seattle is a place called Blake Island and Tillicum Village. The island is a state park with moorage, campsites and hiking trails that cover the small island (about 15 miles from Seattle). Great day hitting the beach at low tide, my son really enjoys turning over rocks and getting crabs and finding the sea stars under the larger rocks. If you've never visited the PNW I highly recommend it! It's an amazingly beautiful place.

Before heading out to the sound, we had to get gas. This guy was next to us - Arctic Pride - 125 Feet long pleasure yacht It took on 6750 gallons of diesel (at $4.20 / gallon ) Going through the small lock chamber at the Ballard Locks. It was low tide so approximately 25' drop. Got to hang out with the Seattle PD while waiting.

On the way back in we went through the large lock chamber. Holds a lot of boats!

Awesome pics trs.had no idea about the locks up there. Very easy coast. And a great happy family!!

And today is the Annual “Big Cat Poker Run”

It’s an assortment of offshore boats that do a run through the California Delta. As the come down the main channel we had a bird eye view from our “ windmill cove”

Thanks for sharing Matt and TRS. For us Inland Lake dwellers it's so interesting seeing what you guys are exposed to every weekend! It's freaking awesome.

I was out on the lake at a little after midnight last night taking friends back home. Got back to our place, tied up and laid down at 2. Back on the water today and tied up with 4 other boats from our little community. Now its dinnertime, then back in the boat to cruise over to a marina about 5 miles away to listen to some live music and hang out.
