I had two of them mounted and balanced today. For some reason FedEx thought it would be a good idea to send the other two tires to Missouri before sending them back to Texas even though they were shipped from a warehouse only 10 mi from my place. Hopefully the other two get here tomorrow, no rush.

Four new balanced D range tires. Ridesixh more smoothly and predictable now. And got the restores wheels on. A little lake time yesterday before the holiday weekend madness. We will stay off the water this weekend, it gets too crazy.

Added a large breaker to the main feed going from the house battery switch to the now where all the electronics are for extra protection.

Added two more Polk DB652 6.5" speakers to the stern and wired them to the main amplifier in the bow. All stainless screws and chamfered all the holes of course going to paint the grills white once the primer and paint come in...

Idle was not always stable as it should be. Checked everything and it all looks good. Went ahead and replaced the idle air control valve. On first start it idles much better than before already, like new idle again.

Also cleaned and degreased the flame arrestor (aka air filter).

Also got the interior and engine bay lights all replaced with LED. Much brighter now. And best of all, no noticable drain on the battery when they're on.

Took the boat out this evening for a few hours. All the warm starts and cold starts were good as new. Idle was way more solid and predictable. And coming from cruising speed to a quick stop, the idle stayed solid with no hunting. New IAC valve working like a charm.

I didn't get to take pics with the new LED interior lights yet since we left the water before dark. Will make sure to next time we are out past dark.

Got the grills removed and painted finally. Scuffed them up with a steel wool pad. Cleaned them up with alcohol. And got about 8 light coats of paint on them.
