Man, what a bust.
Going over all my connections because I thought I came up with something and ended up breaking the brass fitting between the regulator and the return hose. Unbelievable.....
Now I have to wait for that part to show up.

Man she’s really fighting you...if you’ve got to tear in to it again you should put a fuel pressure gauge on the return line to make sure you don’t have any back pressure on that side.

I wouldn't even know how to do that. It's a double flared hose. I'd have to cut it to insert a gauge.
This is just unbelievable.
So Sunday night I ordered the new fitting (Ebay) to replace the one I broke.
Tuesday I get the E mail that they're no longer available and they canceled the order. I chose that particular vendor because the pic they had showed one in the package sitting on a kitchen table. And they had more than 10 available in the description.
So last night (Tues) I ordered another one (Ebay, different vendor). Ironically, I saw it was listed as shipped late Tues night. (cool, might get it quickly)
Today I see it was delivered. (HUH?)
It was shipped from CT and was delivered to the same city in CT.
WTF? Did this idiot just ship it to himself?
I just cannot believe the luck with this dam boat......

Wow, you can’t win...what’s the fitting look like, we’re pretty good at finding stuff like that around here. Gotta get you up and running, summers half over!

Actually got 2 on order now.
MAYBE 1 might get here before the new year.

Sad thing is, i still need to find the problem I've been having. I can't even start the engine without this part though.

I HATE when a project is on hold over one tiny part like that...

I hate that I can't get these parts locally. Everything needs to be ordered and shipping times are seriously delayed due to Covid.
It's been like 6 weeks since I got my fuel injectors installed. Every week it's like waiting for a new part to arrive as it takes about that long.

Amazon has been the only reliable shipping since this all hit. Anything I needed off eBay or elsewhere take at least a week.

She got a bottle of that Bio Kleen for the boat vinyl. Supposed to be 2 day "prime"
Showed up a week late, package damaged, and bottle empty.
Everything related to this boat has been a nightmare thus far.
Did manage to get all my parts in order for installation today.
Mixed feelings as it went OK, but still not completely satisfied with the sound coming from the fuel pump. It's less noticeable, but the service manual is saying I'm good with pressure and such.
Only thing I can do is to run it and see what happens. Not crazy about that idea, but I think it's what has to be done.

Got the on board battery charger worked out and going.
Got most of my house batteries wiring done. Fuses and wire loom installed with wires clamped out of the way.
With any luck, should be out of the engine compartment tomorrow.
