Anyone have a stern mounted flagpole by a ski locker hatch? Getting one installed friday....but wondering now if it will interfere with the hatch to the point I'll regret it. My boat has a hatch on the back where you can get gear out when your on the swim platform. It's very handy.

Yt...what say yes? U have the same boat. The install....as planned right now will go on the port stern side near where the wrap around seat make its bend. There is a nice little flat spot there

Ok yep....that's the placement I'd say. So when you open up your ski/gear hatch there is no interference or do you just not care?

I rarely get into that hatch T. Its super simple to pop out though, just push and twist and set it in the seat until your done. Just be careful not to drop it in.

On the 242 they mounted it directly behind the stern light mount. Looks like it is really close, almost touching. I looked at mine and there is a short flat spot there.
