Well that's about as cool as it gets! What an incredible experience meeting everyone and touring the plant. I have to work tomorrow or I would have hung around. I suspect there will be lots of lemonade tonight!

I'm sure everyone will be posting pics with stories to tell. And something tells me...after this meetup there will be more to come!

You should try to make the cobalt regatta on table rock in July. Last year they had close to 100 Cobalt’s show up! It grows every year. They should be posting the dates soon. But it’s typically the last weekend in July

Here are my pics. Beware, we all have lots, and Ms Nauiti was walking around with a Go-Pro. But for you guys that couldn't make it we'll add them here so you'll feel like you were there.

They broke us up into 3 groups. I can't speak for the other guys, buy our tour guide (Rick) has been there for I think 33 years and has worked or is very familiar with every aspect. He did Customer service calls for years, and they would send him out to take care of any issues. He knows every part of the different boats and gave us some very unique and inside info. His favorite is the 21 bow rider that they developed from the 190, another of his favorites.

Another of his faves is the 260 series. He said when they introduced the 262 at the first show, the dealers were blown away and they ordered tons and tons of those boats. They were about a month into production and behind schedule when Pac St. Clair came out and noticed something wrong with some small part on the transom. Engineering said they were looking into the issue and should have an answer soon. Pac said that's real real good I'm glad you guys are working on it. Then he causally said "Shut down production until it's fixed and addressed on all of them" and walked away. They stopped production for a month until engineering came up with the solution! Needless to say they were very behind on all of their orders with lots of upset dealers and customers but he would not have it any other way!

Rick also told us about several tests boats with different engine configurations that he got to test personally. Some made it through and some didn't.

He let us climb up into anything we wanted to! We got to get inside of the new A36 bowrider and it was amazing. And right behind it was another A36 shallow bow, so they will come configured two different ways. The shallow bow will have a cuddy underneath, and the deep bow has a midship cuddy. He went around showing us all of the new features that were about to be installed, like the TV screen that raises up from a panel when you touch a button. We saw the top of an A36 before it got installed on its hull, and all the components that are visible and easily accessible before the two come together. When I asked "What is this 6" insulated ductwork looking stuff hanging off the side? It looks like something for HVAC?" He said it is. Its heat and air ductwork. Really?...

Back where they build the big boats there was probably a dozen in various stages of completion. These are $400,000 boats, and a dozen of them... A36's, A40s, yadayada...

A7 & Yt(do we call you Jack & Whitey now?), great pictures and write up. Looks like great fun for all. Hope Liquid didn’t hear the part about the 190, he’ll really have the big head! I was hoping for an”Oprah” moment, when they said that all members of CC would receive a new A36 open bow mid-cabin, color of their choice, twin 430’s. Oh well, maybe next year. Thanks to all.

Thx DUB....would have loved to talk with you there. I’m sure another event will be planned soon.

YT, your pics of the tour are fantastic. What a tour guide you had!

Georgeee, let’s try to make that happen. I’ll know more after my schedule firms up in February but who wouldn’t love to see thunder boat row in February. 🌞🌞🌞
