Thanks guys. Driller, do you have a pic of the external plug? The main downside with what I have is that I have to close two plug wires between the engine hatch and rear seat back. With the new vinyl I'd love to no have to do that.
Drill a hole on the side. Run it through that
Can always add those really cool chrome electrical plug connectors to the side.
Just trying to help.
Is it done yet

Don’t have a pic, but I had mine mounted on the wall of the transom walkthrough beside the stereo remote. Left a little slack so I can pull the plug thru and still open the engine cover with it plugged in.

I was thinking on the bottom would be best. Should be fine with an outdoor rated outlet box from Home Depot right?
Yes just make sure it's good for about 20ft.under water.

Here's some pics of where the installers mounted my plug (I mounted the charger). Not really the location I would have chosen, but it works ok.

I like it. It can sneak out the walk through under the cover as opposed to over the side And out the back you'd see it all the time.

Yeah, that part is handy, run it inside the boat under the cover and pop out right next to my plug-in on the dock thru the side zippered opening. Makes for a tidy hookup, and keeps everything dry.
