Very soon, the dock and boat lifts have been in less than a week and we will hopefully have a driveway by next Friday. Nothing like finishing construction and having 12 guests come stay for the 4th of July 2 days later!

.

Alright....now you're talkin', MLB! And if those 12 don't show up, I'll fly everyone on the CChat forum down to help christen the place.

Any wake surfing pics??

Nope, those pics are on my son’s friends phone but I should have them in the next couple days. Here’s a pic of the new digs that we’ve been working towards for 30+ years.
Holy!....uh yes please

Welcome from Texas MLB. Your setup is so awesome from the pictures I’d swear you were in Texas! 😇

I’ve boated in about a dozen states but never in Texas. The lake country of central and northern Minnesota is full of lakes for boating and fishing. The county that we are in has 896 lakes and the two adjacent counties both have over 1,000 lakes. Our home is on Gull Lake and it has dozens of resorts on its 42 miles of shoreline. Water temperature is at 76 degrees according to the R5 thermometer and will climb to about 80 in another few weeks. Like most MN lakes, the water level only varies about 3-6 inches in a typical year so once you set your dock and lift, it’s done for the season. Here’s a picture of the southern part of the lake - our house is on the right side of the peninsula in the bay just above the right wing tip of the float plane. There are several homeowners on the lake that have float planes that they park in front of their homes.

That is Gorgeous! We have one guy who uses a helicopter to commute but that is about it. Our lake is just under 100,000 square acres so plenary of space and not a lot of people. More than there was 50 years ago when the lake was as built though.

The R5 Surf in action. My kids are addicted to wake surfing and it’s been fun watching them and all of their friends learning to surf. Fuel costs are up but the fun factor is way, way up!

Wow, what a dump. Just awful.

Congratulations that is some spread and I look forward to purchasing your R5 from you in a few years. That is an awesome color combo.

Welcome.
