This thread helped me figure out that my boat has the accent lighting option. The accent lighting control is not a simple switch like DCLfan has on his boat, but I was able to figure it out, although it took longer than I'm willing to admit. Adds a nice touch to the boat.

Has anyone figured out all of the options and how to use the new accent lighting knob on the latest cobalts? We have a 2020 R5 Surf and now there is only one single knob that also depresses.

So far I’ve learned you hold it in for a few seconds to turn on and off. Single clicks while on seem to change between brightness, then color / speed of fade. I am still a little confused when using as it’s not very intuitive. Anyone else mastered it?

I thought DA had this down pat. He is a night time led king!!

This thread help me out with my new to me 2012 220. I have that dimmer switch on the bottom of the dash and thought it was for the optional docking lights. I will have to check that out this weekend and see if it dims the instruments.

I guess we need to train some mice to fill the trim fluid if needed. Unless you remove the batteries.
