So, found 2 leaks with the soapy water.. one was in the valve stem... tightened the
packing nut about 1/4 turn, that stopped that one. The other was a hose fitting inside
the pump housing, tightened the screw clamp, and that one stopped. Floated both
tanks to the max, will watch it for the next couple of weeks.

I guess this is a pretty old pump.. it's a hydro-hoist, but there are no plastic pipes
anywhere... just rubber hoses clamped from metal fitting to metal fitting. I
should have snapped a couple of pics while I had the cover off... only thought
to snap the cover while I was there.

Sounds like you got it as that is the prone areas. My early fiberglass tank had metal and plastic elbows ( 4 hose ). Your fine!
I’m sure when they floated the hoist over it was strapped to the platform. One less thing to worry about!
