That's pretty funny.
Call them what you want, but if they they help me load after a long day on the water, then I'm in!

I've addedd a LOT of cheat stuff in my trailer.
Loadmaster is great at making my ideas happen.
They're fabbing a bow V stop with a winch mast tilted toward the bow, with a ladder fabbed on the left side of the mast reaching from the bow to the ground. They're also mounting a walk plate to the right so I dont have to straddle anything while hooking the boat. My truck tires shouldn't touch water, and neither will my feet. I should be able to load this thing by myself with ease.

Here's a couple shots of my trailer being built.
It's raw steel coming out of the weld shop. It's tough to see, but note the notched end that Loadmaster uses for the extended hull of a Cobalt to support the entire end of the boat. Now it heads to paint. It should be painted, wired, and have the electric over hydraulic discs installed.
It will be riding on 16" E rated tires with a GVWR of over 12k.

Hopefully, I have completed pictures and pick it up by the weekend.

That's cool seeing raw :-) I like your rim choice. I'm looking at upgrading mine someday. Also Goodyear came out with a new trailer tire. So those will go on as well.

So how's does the trailer get under the boat?

Well, when the boat hits town, I'll bring the trailer to the dealership, and they load her on with their crane...
The factory will release the boat on the 9th, so with a little shipping luck, I'll be in business in a couple weeks.

Wait till you get a load of the price on the Good Year Endurance.....

Yea saw them. Cheaper than the 22 on the escalade. Can't wait to see the boat trailer package.

Will be nice. Cant wait to see you arrival. I have good luck in not trailering. But can rent a dealer trailer if needed to travel. Best if both worlds.

That looks like a well built trailer. Like the wheel choice also.

This has been a lot of fun for me, actually getting the chance to design a custom trailer in order to make our loading/unloading easier.

The trailer's going to get the same paint code Navy blue as the boat, with white DOT strip and pin striping. I thought the gun metal gray wheels would match up well with the VP outdrive.
It'll have all clear grommet mounted LED lighting, with a few extra side frame lights with side turns, along with four tail lights.
The side plates towards the front of the trailer were installed under where the bow ladder will go to make more stable walking to hook the winch to the boat. The other plate is mounting for the break away/electric over hydraulic brake components.
I had the tongue extended two feet in order to keep my truck out of the water when launching. It makes it a little long at 31', but hopefully not a problem with it sticking out when parking it at the ramp.

This happened to my trailer this weekend. :(
20170605_081218.jpg
It's the nicest pulling (and best looking) boat trailer I've ever owned, with 4 bunks, LED lights and matching paint and stripes. So naturally, I have to have it repaired. In the old days I would have just beat it back into shape. And this was with new tires. Grrr. Blowouts suck...

Sorry about your situation, that sucks.
Trailer tires just suck in general.
The only ST tire that is American made are the new Good Year Endurance ST.
The cost however is almost twice as much as everything else, and there is zero data. They may be no better....

Torsion or spring?

My tires are Marathon trailer tires and supposed to be long lasting, 8 ply, good quality, bla bla bla. These are nearly new, but unfortunately I didn't buy them so there's no warranty. The tire shop guy told me you'll always see the rear blow out on trailers because it catches all the heat from the front one.

The new Goodyear tire is rated for like 85mph. I saw the load in them I think they are a D Rating. I know it's alot more than the marathon again. I can't remember what the marathon is but it's only like 65 if that. Yt look at the dot number. What are the last two numbers. That's the year they were made.
