Ahhh. Roger that. My Donzi had the 4.3LX 4 barrel with no thru hull exhaust. Bought her new. She would hit 60 with that setup with a true 24 degree deep vee and no step. She was only 16' though and a beauty.
Suddenly I realized I longed for more power, a big block boat, and thru hull exhaust. My wife--well not so much.

I bought it I think a year or two old 25 hours on it. I had the donzi brochure with it on the cover. I still have it. I got the brochure at the Chicago boat show in 2000. I sat in the boat just like it. I had it for 5 great years and put about 300 hours on it. 2008 was a killer bad year as most of us know.

Oh I know...from prop strikes to 401(k)'s becoming 101(k)'s....ouch. Tough year.
Now lets go back in time. Here I am on my Dad's Donzi in 1969:
(and yes, that's my mom driving!)

No way. That's great. I think liquid started a classic thread. That needs to go in there.

That is awesome. Definitely needs to go in the First Love thread... I have an addition for there as well... once works stops interfering with me talking about boats.
Aslan - No, I don't work on props. I have been known to obsess about them or mash them into oblivion on occasion.

Tried to search for "first Love" thread but site said those words are too common.
Do you have a link to that liquid?

Just heard from Gerry's marine today in Vegas regarding the option installs on our 263.
She's complete! Bennett tabs; Corsa Captain's call; new batteries; flag pole; and underwater LED lights complete!
Water test went fantastic--- for 10 minutes until she went into reduced rpm limp mode due to overheat.
D'OH!
They pulled her out... scoped the water intake and noticed some debris blocking down by the impeller. They will flush thoroughly, replace any needed items and test her again. Still hoping to ship next week.
