Both will have good resale. But I'll ask you. If you were looking for the same boat on the used boat market and you saw both which one would you go to look at first?
Go 350.

This was a huge huge problem in the beginning. It was all manufactures. Yes they are getting it figured out. But in marine life it won't be. Just saying. But we don't use a Marine engine like a car engine. That's another reason I use BG MOA and other products from them. It helps a ton. We will see sticking rings also and oil consumption shows its ugly face. Just watch. Marine is always a few years behind the auto industry.
Did you go with volvo or merc? 6.2 vs 5.3? Di vs Fi?

Ah another magazine/internet regurgitator with zero real world experience. Ive tore down a truck load of old school gas engines that have your "fuel valve cleaner" either injection or carb, that 90% of the intake valves had substantial carbon deposits. Ive also never seen a discernable amount to even color an intake valve of a diesel.
When i get 5,000 hours on my boat about the time this would become an actual problem I give you a call.
