I got my estimate today to fix/replace my tower. Yes it's made out of Cobalt gold.wow. I think a bb is cheaper.
$2,500-$3,500??
Way way off double your last number.

So fair warning ones with a factory tower. Be very nice to them. They can't be replaced when there this old. Still researching what will fit

"They can't be replaced when there this old."
Really that's my only major complaint with Cobalt boats....they (Cobalt) tend to discontinue items outside roughly a 10 year window. I find that quote above applies to much of what we have on our boat....thus extreme caution with certain items which can become irreplaceable. Ughh.

Yea I lost one of the brackets on my tower....which is pretty similar to yours bbp. It was kind of a u shaped bracket that helps keep my sunshade bolted on. I had to give a metal shop guy the one I still had to craft from scratch. But that only cost like 150 bucks.

Hats off to State Farm. In less then two weeks I had a check in my hand to fix my boat. In a few days I knew what they were going to do. I've had State Farm for 33 years.
Don't know yet what I'm going to do but it will be fixed by next spring.

Good to hear BBP. Hopefully your deductible was not too high.

Yes I'll get it fixed during the off season. It's off the boat already.

Instead of a crappy end of the day it was a crappy start of the day. Never heard it never felt it. I think it went down getting off the hwy. Less then a mile to my brothers. So pulled up to my brothers to change it. Of coarse the new truck and the wife took out my emergency box so I had nothing to change it. Brother to the rescue.lol it could have been much worse. Then we were going to go to dinner with family and brother and sister and went to get in the truck and guess what? Wife locked the keys and my wallet and her phone in it.lol ago thank goodness I had my phone and down loaded onatar app and unlocked the truck.lol. oh made it home and in the garage with no issues.lol
