.
Sorry to hear that TG.
I’m curious what your thoughts are if the bridle line was clipped to the underwater D-rings and adjusted so that it can't reach the prop but loose enough that it does not bind against the outboard motor?
.

Hi, I'm getting my first Cobalt and need to arrange transport. Can I ask who you used, and if you were happy with them?
Thanks!
.
Hey anniemcq. So glad you found us!
We used Uship a few years ago. There are some threads on it
here.
And welcome aboard mate!

Sorry I don’t know. I gave the bridle line to a friend who needed one before testing it out. If you give it a try can you let us know here?

Well I finally got my 2017 sc25 in the water! Wow what a great boat!
I have a merc verado 350 on the back. Time to plane is great and 3200 rpm gets me around 25 mph which is great for me. Top speed 55 mph with full gaz tank and two people on board.
The hull is solid. Handles like a dream. We boat in the ocean and we hardly felt the 2 feet chop that day.
The only thing is the whinning noise in my steering wheel when I turn. Very annoying. I will check steering fluid and see if that helps. Any other ideas?
Oh and also we don’t have trim tabs on this boat and I will be adding them on. It should be a standard option in my opinion. For the price I paid for this boat I shouldn’t have to move people around to balance the weight onboard. But easy fix I guess.
We decided to buy a drive on boat port which has proven to be challenging. We bought a wave armor extreme 24. But the outboard motor sits to high and is out of the water when on the port. Because of that we have to push the boat off which has proven difficult. The wavearmor dealer says there are tweeks that can be made to alleviate this issue so I am crossing my fingers.
Updates to follow.
Rating so far 9.6/10
Boat name: Smiles per hour!

Great looking boat and perfect name.
Agree with you about the trim tabs- good to have and should be included. Enjoy the boat.

That's awesome and yes sounds like a pain in the dock!
We have heard concerns about the power steering. All seem to be fluid related. Never hear anything after that.

Great looking boat and setup.
I’m also hearing the whining noise when turning the wheel. When I open the center storage the sounds is pretty loud and constant. Starting hearing it at about 10hrs in the boat. Good to know I’m not the only one. About to call the dealer for that and some minor stuff.
So far 20 hrs and miles of smiles for us.

Will do.
Have you tried towing a tube behind it? Curious what others have done since the d-ring is under the swim platform and below water.

We have not tried pulling a tube sorry. No kids and we are mid 50 .
If I get on a tube I won’t make it out

Ha! I’m sure you could find some willing kids on the water somewhere.

I won’t be getting on a tube anytime soon either.

@josie29 Dealer said noise is normal and nothing to worry about. Have you tried adding fluid?
