If someone already had a Raptor (and wanted to keep it), I wonder how much something like this air bag kit would help?

Won't increase payload. In fact it would be reduced by the weight of the air bags.

Is the Raptor's biggest issue payload, or a suspension more set up for Baja than for towing? I've only driven one once, and don't know a ton about them.

They have a completely different suspension than a regular F-150 which cause the payload to be REALLY low. The guy that I bought my R5 from was towing it for a little bit with his Raptor and it was so bad, he sold the truck to get a HD.

It was designed for one purpose...a lot of travel. Good for off road...not so good for towing.

We purchased a 2022 hybrid Toyota Tundra long bed with the towing package and could not be happier. This thing is a beast! With the full back window rolling down makes for great communication when backing up!

Out of curiosity, what does your payload sticker say? Can you post a picture of it?
