Great to see plenty of distance from the ladder to that outdrive, T550....Our 262 with the shorter platform caused me to slice my foot on the Volvo DPS prop one day while swimming a little to close as I was clinging onto the ladder-- outdrive 1/2 raised. Should not be much of an issue with yours --especially with the outdrive lowered.
Nice reinforcement rods underneath as well. She's on there nice and strong by the looks of it.
Also good to see you have trim tabs. They are great in balancing the loads in these deep vee hulls with multiple folks onboard. Now get that outdrive painted!

Swim deck did great today. I love the ladder, it's much easier to get in both in the water and on the trailer.
I need to check how well they sealed the screw holes where the support brackets are attached. There was a lot more water in the bilge when we finished than I would have expected for the day.
Outdrive is halfway done. Might be Thanksgiving weekend before I can finish it. Out of town the next two weekends and have tentative lake trip plans again the weekend of Nov 18

Sounds like you’ll be in the engine compartment looking for any leaks coming in.
I did this last time I was out. You’d be surprised where water can slip by. Nothing a tube of silicone or JB weld can’t fix though.

The factory swim deck surface is pretty slick when wet, seems like the original non-skid surface is worn down or something. Suggestions on something to stick on there to help? SeaDek, or anything else? I ate it last weekend stepping down on it and my daughter and our friend both did this past weekend.
Yep, next free weekend we have (Nov 18) I'll probably head out on my own for a couple hours. The 260 series swim platform (as well as the extended swim platform ) have a rougher surface on which we have fortunately never slipped. Multiple kids and adults have used this for the past six years for our water sport activities.
I would like to replace the carpet on our current swim platform with the aquamarine product that YTMSN installed on his 240 shown in this thread:

A7 I will be doing my lower deck for sure. I just talked to the girl at aquamarine and she's sending me a couple of color samples to see if I can match the upper deck. If not I'm peeling it all off and replacing the whole thing with something different. Probably Brown on a black background. Either way, you don't slip on this stuff. Besides the underwater lights it was one of the best additions we ever made.
