I had a deep Hull Sunbird Corsair 200, great, nimble, perfect on fuel. We spent a week on Powell after those storms sunk the ski boats. I grew up on Flaming Gorge and Utah lake, I know what big waves are and how to handle them. But!! Momma wasn’t happy, daddy is now more than happy!
I know exactly what your saying when you say when momma isn't happy....
Weren't the ski boat sunk in the top end of a canyon because of a flash flood coming off the top of the canyon wall? Or was that a different incident?
I hope you didn't think I was questioning your boating knowledge that was the farthest thing from my mind.
If it starts storming on any of the water you were taking about you better be headed for cover somewhere besides out in the open.

I didn’t take it that way! I have tons of other things to get butt hurt over beside internet chats! I was talking about the micro burst storm that was listing house boats and flipped over a moored wake boat. We were there the week after, and the waves never came in under 4’ in the channel. Poor little Sunbird had to work for it!
