I like it much better. Coordinates with the gray / silver on the gauges. Nice job. Very modern.

While digging around on VP's sight last night I realized that I have VP Corrosion Protection installed. You can see it in the pics on the transom right behind the Port Exhaust. Learn something new every day. Maybe it is a standard part of the Cobalt build?

Before - wood
After - leather.
Oh sorry Matt it fit and I think looks Sharp as Heck.
It just got ten years younger!

I'm on the same page.Tuscany wrote: Sun Sep 17, 2017 8:12 amIn the end your taste is what should rule.Big Block Power wrote: Fri Sep 15, 2017 8:51 pm Tuscany you might not like this. But I really like the rear stripe on the new boats. Do you think this would look good on mine. Then what color would you do?
Maybe the sides are not high enough?
If you are asking my opinion, it would be this.
YT could add to this...
Personally, I like things totally stock. I think it adds to the timeless statement the designers had in mind. There was a gentleman on here a few months back that changed the lettering on his R7. It looked great.
Colors complimented the boat, and the font worked very well. Well designed.
Would I do it? Absolutely not in a million years.
IMHO, when I watch an auction like YT works, I love to look at the 57' chevys or the old Studebakers that are tricked out, but my heart stops and I drool over the unsullied, non-molested factory clean, totally stock stuff. So much harder to present perfect stuff, and it has to be stock to be perfect.
That's just me.
Your boat is beautiful as it sits. Timeless, clean, a head turner, and full of Cobalt class.
So do i, but I've always liked the leather more than the wood.NautiGirl wrote: Sun Sep 17, 2017 3:04 pmI like it! Very sharp!Big Block Power wrote: Sun Sep 17, 2017 9:37 am Like this.
