Thanks for the compliment.

Small mods are done year round.

Big mods happen during modification season.

On a side note..... She still is cursed. Found a puddle under my trailer master cylinder. WTF???? Trailer is 7 months old. Had a brake line come undone and now the master is leaking from the back up solenoid.

Ordered up the Faria gauges today. Opted to go with the GPS speedometer with built in compass. So I will be eliminating the factory compass and installing the 4 in 1 gas/oil/volt/temp in it's place. This will put all gauges in the upper dash panel. No more looking down to view oil pressure or engine temp when running at higher RPM.

Contacted Bennett Marine about trim tab selection because the 252 seems to be "special". With the top speed capabilities of 60 MPH and the limited transom space for installation, they suggest using the Sport Tab 16.

I find the Auto Trim Pro to be pretty neat. Kind of like an auto pilot for trim tabs, or can be manually controlled.

Yes! That’s the kit I’ve had bookmarked for a while. Take lots of pics! Can’t wait to hear your review.

And I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to just dangle behind the boat like a fishing lure.
Sorry, who had the link for the water temp sensor clamp? I cannot find it at all. Thank you

Sigh.... Must be out of stock, or I don't know what they're called.

I swear I thought someone posted a link for them a while back?

Thanks for the help though.

Hopefully it works. And of course, I just placed my order 2 days ago from them.

My wake board tower was squeaking and shaking side to side when under way. The squeak was right by my ear and driving me nuts.

I contacted the maker (Big Air) and they sent me the instructions. The rep. said it sounded like it needed to be preloaded. (The sides are pulled into the "H" bar in the middle, then bolted in place. This gives lateral strength) When I unbolted the bars, there was no tension on the bars or movement outward. So the rep was right and the people that installed the tower goofed that up too.

So I dropped the boat off at the mechanic to go through the out drive......

He called and said he's going to get me a list of stuff needed. 80

Problem is, we're getting a winter storm as we speak. He doesn't have room in the shop to keep my boat inside until the work is done. Neither of us want it stored outside in that time, so the boat went back to the storage facility without the OD installed.

He told me they had to beat the out drive off. (says that normally means it hasn't been serviced in a long time) Which is why I am having him go through the out drive completely.

Bellows are bad. Rusty U joints. Rusty gimble bearing. (might be where my leak is coming from????)

Mentioned engine is mis-aligned. (I had strong suspicion about that. My engine was removed at one time and motor mounts looked "off" to me)

Pretty sure we're looking at a new engine coupler as well.

This repair is going to hurt, but it was something I was expecting. The drive oil was thick and black when I changed that after taking possession of the boat.

Good news is parts are showing up daily. Trim tabs, gauges, stereo remote, and amplifier
