I can't believe this that today is the first day I'm finding this thread. Great work Nils! Man after my own heart. When you have some pricing in mind for your kit, reach out to me - I'm interested. I have a 250, though, so I'd need to figure out a way to see if the compound angles of the bow are close enough between the two hulls. Perhaps you could share a solidworks file of your cutting template? I could 3D print the hull plate here and see if it matches the angles... Just a thought.
Again, great job! Would love to see a video of the action inside the anchor compartment and how much chainfall height you think you need - that could be another area where the 250 might be smaller than the 263.

I 2nd... can't believe I haven't found this before now and AsLan7 for sharing it. I have an 06 282 so I'll need to see if it works as well but if you decide to do a small production I would also be interested.
Great work and beautiful boat!

4 meter waves in a 26' boat?! NO THANKS, lol. Great job on the install, and just overall with the boat, it's a stunner!

Totally agree with ya' akor. 13 foot waves are no place for a 26 footer.

However, this is just the European certification class for hull integrity mentioned
here.
"Classification rules are developed to assess the structural strength and integrity of the essential parts of the hull, the reliability and function of the propulsion, steering systems, power generation and all the other features installed on board which contribute to guarantee the main essential services of yacht."
Still an impressive certification for this model nonetheless.

I wonder what that certification costs on top of our NA pricing?

Your right, in Europe we need the CE Certificate and the 263 is ranked with B-Class. that means the boat can be used up to wind to max 8bft and wave height of max. 4 Meters.
It is also an insurance topic for rent-a-boats!
This drains are called fast drainer.
In Europe these boats are mostly use at coast water and less on lakes. Our lakes aren’t so huge like yours in the states.
Any report on the modification after 1 year?
