Believe it or not only thing he has gotten is an old pair of flip flops at our lake house. But we are pretty seasoned dog parents. We have plenty for him to chew on and keep him occupied when he isn’t in his crate. He’s a super high energy dog but almost super smart. He’s a good boy
Wow. That may be a first from a puppy owner. Congrats.

Pic for cuteness... This is how he sleeps!
That's because he watches Jeff sleep 😉😂😂

Yesterday, she had her "big girl" shots. When she came home, you would have thought she was recovering from surgery. She layed in her bed all day, and if you touched her, she would cry.. it was really sad. I was ready to call a priest.🤣
So dramatic, but by dinner time she was becoming her old self again.
I can't wait to see the trauma imposed by her first grooming..
She looks ready for a cut!
Hahaha Marzen!
Lovin’ freakin’ life!. You go brother!

Yeah, she’s going in soon. I’m getting her used to the brush, and at great personal suffering and injury🤣.. oh, my poor hands have been chewed to pieces because she thinks it’s play time, but she is doing pretty good with it now. Under all of that, is a skinny 8.6 lbs of love.
I have to admit, I love the fluff! She looks awesome brushed out.

I like the fluff too but we just had a cut this week and he's short... It easier to maintain since he's a lake dog and I think hes more comfortable. It's amazing how much a hair cut changes their looks!

Haha, when we give Ellie a bath, it’s an episode of the “great disappearing puppy”. It’s hilarious. I’ll have to take some pics next time.

Well make me the second person.... Marzen has only chewed one thing... And it was my fault... But my oakley Holbrooks suffered a loss. It's cheaper than a new couch!

Thanks guys...I think I might be more excited than the kids.....and they r over the moon!

Everyone’s pups on here are so sweet. Next summer I’ll be asking advice about how to turn the pup into a water dog and boat lover (except for bayliners....she can’t love that brand)

Congrats AJ!
She’s a doll!
A big Cobalt puppy welcome from Ellie...who needs a hair cut🥰

Marzen is one handsome dood!

Was naming your dogs an issue?
We do everything as a family, which is NOT the way to go sometimes...and naturally I made the horrible mistake of involving our kids in naming our puppy.
Ruby was my wife’s choice, I liked Daisy, my son liked Millie, and my daughter liked something else... we tossed so many names back and forth and so many made a 3 out of 4 vote, but not a 4 out of 4.. I’m pretty easy, and also liked Ruby, so great choice AJ.
The only name we could settle on AFTER a we brought her home was Ellie. I was a Beverly Hillbilly fan!
