Would love to see photos.
It is finally nearby. We went an looked yesterday, we will be back to close next weekend. They were still prepping/cleaning. (I told them to take their time, they got all week, but it better be ready next weekend!) We had to pull the cover off and poke around inside, I'm pretty sure my wife is under that cover somewhere.

Very cool. It will be a long week. The biggest issue we have seen from the pdi is they don't calibrate the fuel guage correctly. Hopefully by now they got this down. Last year not so well.

We ventured to the dealer and checked out the boat. We will return in a week, sea trial, close, and take possession finally. We did crank the stereo. It does its job very well. Actually, the Admiral was happy.

I sat in the helm and made motor sounds, waving at the people on the banks, or at least in the parking lot. (one can see our old black SeaRay behind us. I couldn't bring myself to go talk to her :? )

.

Went with the 350 horse DTS throttle. (I like the DTS stuff, so smooth, and yes, all electronic, if I'm ever miles out at sea i'm in trouble, but on our lakes if i'm ever a mile from shore, i'm already on a trailer.)

We saw shiny things! We went with regular stock carpet, since we will shortly remove and add gray seadeck all throughout anyway.

Afterwords, went out to eat IN a restaurant, and drove home. It was a good day.

We are quite happy with it. It does seem to be exactly what we were building, (even that 6.2 engine and all... man, you people are like a small dog on a chew toy).

It is a boat of our design, and we are excited about it. (6.2 Engine and all....)
