I’d put another plug in it if the threads are good.
UPDATE: So I put a new plug in. The initial threading was difficult to get on. Once the plug started to turn, it went in relatively smoothly. Once it seated properly I snugged it in.

Fired it up and it ran fine. Ran it for 20 minutes up to 45mph and it sounded ok (didn't run it full out) -- so I "think" I'm ok. I didn't feel any power loss or lag at 45mph -- little nervous about running it full tilt but I'll need to test that once I feel a little more comfortable. So fingers crossed -- I'll keep monitoring.

I may have cracked the ceramic when I put the other plug in. But I think that it wasn't seated properly and that caused the problem.

So all good for now!

Talk about good news, bad news. Good attitude is one of the most important things in life though.
Good luck and hope you had a great Father's Day.

In the early 80's, I worked for a golf course architect and a family run business. His wife was like a second mother to me.
One of her favorite sayings, " Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play?"
