Opps, I almost forgot to explain what the power upgrade is all about...😊😊
It’s not a few horsepower you are buying Cycle, horses don’t do diddily on a boat, it’s a heaping helping of TORQUE. Without question, its a night and day, head-snapping power upgrade, and very evident once you load up the boat.
Not to mention a big block should be the mandatory sound of a CC!

Think of it this way Cycleman. Would you rather ride around on a scooter with an open pipe or a Street Glide? 😊

Go big!

We love spending other people's money. Like Tusc said, it's what we do here! (giggle)

Hehehe YT...  :D

But, we never misguide anyone. If someone thinks its not worth it, we will always offer a friendly debate on the points of view so the buyer can clearly decide for themselves.
There is no right or wrong here... Except for John, he is the Captain of this ship!

Just to further my point.. I have a new VP 6.2L 380/430. Not sure, and long story there.
Anyway, I can knock a boat full of people on their ass, and I mean kettle over tea cups, towels flying out the back on their ass just by moving the stick a tad at any RPM.
Don't shortchange yourself on thinking the 350 vs. 380 is only a 30 hp difference. Its going to be twice the engine in that R5.

Hey....good to hear from ya mluters! It's been awhile since your last post.

I'm a newbie who has been here for only 7 months. I see you are one of the founding members (#3)! Just want to thank you for your pics from the post below. You're helping this Pennsylvania boy get thru the winter. Loved your video too in that post....

I've been rather busy with a house remodel for the last year and a half and haven't had as much time for boating. I did just spend the weekend in the Las Vegas area (where I keep my boat) and got my winter maintenance done on the boat...I'm now ready for spring boating!

Just got off phone with Dealer. Added CC, along with the Docking lights we talked about last week. Order is finished. I am happy, thrilled, overjoyed, and anxious. I am keeping the 6.2L/350HP and finished with adding options after fact.

Mluters,
Does the catalyst in the manifold affect the sound much? Are you one of the lucky ones that got a non catalyst after 2010? I was led to believe that the VP catalyst screwed up the sound and it really wasn’t worth it. I won’t be doing CC this year, but maybe next.

I think I’m definitely in the minority here, but I have to say that I have no desire for CC on my boat. Maybe I’m getting old, but unless it’s a classic muscle car, I don’t like a loud exhaust. When I’m out on the lake, I couldn’t imagine cruising and hearing that loud engine all the time (I know it can be shut off). I’m not a go fast boat guy either. Don’t hate, just my opinion! Am I the only one???

I sheepishly raise my hand. You are not the only one.
